Where your heart is... ask a child

A long time ago, I was watching The Herman and Sharon Show, they interview writers and people who have interesting ministries. They are on our local Christian Television Network.
When my son Sean was about eight years old I asked him a question I heard on the show. The guest was talking about our examples of what we show our children and what they think is important to us. So I posed the question to Sean, what do you think is the most important thing to mom? "God" was his reply. And dad? "work" he said. I was not surprised about the dad answer, I was glad to know that he knew what was my priority.

Joseph is five, and his response for what is the most important thing to mom was "loving me", and dad? "work". I about cracked up.

I just want to remember this forever!

Hi mom,

That was cute! And you must be so very proud! Sound like a smart 5-yr old to me!!

If you get the opportunity, please say a prayer for the prayer requests on our main page.

You and your ministry are in my prayers!

God bless you,

I loved that! Mine are now 16 and 20 so their answers won't be nearly as cute, but probably pretty insightful! :) I will have to ask them those questions...

Enjoyed your post!
